Prosecutors Against Gun Violence held its annual conference right here in the Bronx! We brought together more than 160 elected prosecutors, practitioners and experts to discuss the impact of gun violence in America. We focused on gun violence data/trends and community engagement.

The Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Texas ruled in the United States v Rahimi that the defendant’s indictment by a federal grand jury for possession of a firearm while under a domestic violence restraining order violated his constitutional rights.

PAGV has filed a amicus brief urging the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold a law that prohibits domestic violence abusers from possessing guns. Read more:
