biggest mistake brands make when trying to ā€œbuild an audienceā€:. they try to force it. audiences aren’t built by constant asks, gimmicks, or fake engagement. they grow when people want to stick around because the content, voice, and value make it worth it.

nuance to yesterday's post:. most long-form flops because it’s bloated. one idea stretched into twenty minutes, no structure, no reason to keep reading/watching. but when it’s tight, layered, and actually gives value, then long-form still builds trust and authority better.

audience growth isn’t magic, it’s a chain reaction:. value → trust → engagement → growth. deliver value first, which earns trust, which then creates engagement, and, finally, growth happens on its own. most accounts try to skip these initial steps; that’s why their audience.

you can of course use a mixture of each together as they’re not always stand alone categories but using the ones that target your audience’s needs & wants are the ones that will perform best. now go back and figure out which one(s) i used in my first post & let me know if i.

5ļøāƒ£ question. this is usually a bit weaker vs the rest but can work well when done right because questions make people pause. if it’s something they’re already thinking about, they’ll read. example:.why are top builders moving to X chain?.
