EFC 💙 thoughts on them & football in general
Joined June 2025
Been a good watch Bologna Some good players, 3 in particular being Rowe Castro Lucumi Imagine Castro/Lucumi may get moves in the summer, Lucumi close to Sunderland last summer

think when you sit down & review the squad still a big old summer this one with lots to do either way!

Ndiaye again sparking debate of keep him on the left in recent weeks then you have George/Grealish who both predominantly play left siders too Dibling also still here of course, should be interesting viewing

what EFC do with wide areas this summer is one i'm interested in, obviously again like yesterday depends on where they land league position wise but if they do say, bring both George/Grealish in again, do they need another? is it all still all 'same same' ?

have sympathy for st's this year, EFC chance creation is poor, but also Barry is adjusting & maybe not quite at the movement in the box part of getting used to it yet this also counts for wide players though, Ndiaye's non-pen xG is 2.95 as example, they need more everywhere

agree, there is a skill to having high xG, you make your own luck it's why the whole "EFC strikers don't have high xG focus on that first" is in both sides of a coin 1. yes need better chance creation from players but 2. strikers do need to improve awareness in opp box
"For a striker, getting in position is way more informative than finishing. When we played Everton at our place late last year, Beto missed three one-on-ones. "Any model worth its salt would give Beto an upgrade. Any player who manages to to make three one-on-ones in a single

they may fall short, but put themselves in strong position, to still land some sort of european competition personally think 12pts gets you it guaranteed & probably best to look that way, don't take a loss too serious, focus on just 9 games blanket & review properly after IMO

if EFC don't get conference league, then less moving pieces & less gametime available Alcaraz another big example i think, maybe the biggest

it's moving pieces say EFC go in market for a CM to partner Garner/KDH, replacing IGG, IGG if you can maybe renegotiate wages to reflect that could be very very handy player to have in squad for a Conference league campaign can't just send out Rohl/Armstrong/Tim in said comp

think lot's of conversations on player exits/arrivals in summer depend hugely on where EFC finish likes of IGG/Tim/Patterson/Keane if EFC get Conference league they will need a squad & all above be useful, even a Mykolenko if EFC decide on new first choice LB

just me reading this as completely normal? JB always have to be managed, extra bit of tension on him playing LB after that injury too people might not like it, but think Sat a good game to rest him either way, EFC be camped in their own box i'd imagine, which Keane fine doing
Jarrad Branthwaite did not travel to Everton’s warm weather training camp over the weekend. The defender stayed behind to focus on individual workload and rehabilitation. Everton will be looking to manage the defenders minutes from now to the end of the season 🔵

Based on right now? Low, probably Give them a couple years with fanbases they have & influx of PL level money? Humongous clubs operating on lower budget than C’Ship teams, always overlooked the financial part, Rangers record fee, EFC spent on a LB yet to play a PL game Levels.

It’s a decent scope for Hayden of course, but as I say you compare a player playing C’Ship stats to a player playing PL stats then they are playing completely different games
@everton_arent @Benjwinst for example as a cross reference to above, great as i think Jack Rudoni is, he's nowhere near Cole Palmer is he because they play at different levels however comparing graphs for players in different leagues makes you think WOW

Again, as always with these things When you do a chart with a C’Ship player in, and in said same chart is PL players The difference in level just isn’t taken in to account, what makes the comparisons difficult in themselves.
Hayden Hackney produced another huge performance today, in the 4-0 demolition of QPR. What's so unique about him? He is exceptional in both progression and creation. The Pivot Bruno Fernandes.

I really liked Iwobi too btw, actually think EFC would love to have someone of his ability of finding a really clever pass in attacking third in their team in current day But just find above quite funny haha

Can’t help but really like this, honestly 😂 Ok you want to speak out in that manner? I’ll play you there next game but if you’re talking a big game you better back it up Remember that game, Iwobi not good but whole team wasn’t, but still a lesson 😂
🚨 Alex Iwobi reveals how he lost his place in Ancelotti's Everton team: “With Carlo Ancelotti, I learned the hard way. The positions I played were right wing-back, right-back, and right midfield. He told me that when I got the ball, I should always give it to James Rodriguez,

i think if you wanted an absolute 55 would get you minimum of 8th, i think 53 you have a chance but it'll be tight!

43pts for the Toffees then now given the tightness/weirdness of this season so far do we think 10-12 more would be enough for their European push to end with success? more? less?

tell you what, those tough rises after a night game made a little easier with a win! just thought it was a really comfortable game for EFC, not sure they ever had to get out of 2nd gear nice shoutout to Dwight, flashes of the McNeil we used to see last night, good to see
