This is DFW folks... don't take my word for it - take the non-partisan branch of the government that categorizes and divides for the census. The DFW deniers would probably have you believe there are 72 distinct regions of Texas - and we can't have regional conversations.

If anyone has a similar stat for one of their folks lately, I'd love to see it.. But Cam Newton had 43 runs and 11 receptions.. so that means he touched (and therefore was tackled) 54 times in one game. The infamous Gadek game - he only touched the ball 49 times.. Anyone

Lindsay with its second straight bad loss. I guess a Pilot Point win doesn't mean what it used to.. Collinsville vs. Muenster back for the district championship. And Celeste joins Plano East in misery this week with a playoff hope ending 36-6 loss to Simms Bowie..

But the team that seems to never trip me up are our Honey Grove Warriors. Another dominant 57-12 victory this week over Alba-Golden. Honey Grove and Walnut Grove - the Grove keeps the wins coming in this week.

Bells had a nice bounce back win over Blue Ridge. Trinity Leadership - I still want to see how high their ceiling is because they look pretty good each and every week! Remember, they only lost to Jim Ned (the Region I computer favorite) by 1.

A big congratulations to Valley View who ended the scoreless streak this week against what is likely the district champions. Doesn't have to be pretty, but it got done. Jacksboro and City View with impressive wins.
