I bought a trainer’s toolkit so I could put some Dedenne in my deck for the Player’s Cup. First Unbroken Bonds pack I ever open and I pull this. My pulls online are never this good. I’ve been trying to get a Dedenne on PTCGO for ages now.

Umm, what? I’ve barely got enough cards to make a decent deck and I accidentally qualified somehow. I only started playing TCG online because I got sick of VGC20 lol. I suppose I might as well play since I didn’t bother doing the IC for VGC.

Made it to 10-5 in the International Challenge and then decided to squeeze in a couple more games. Now I'm 10-7... That's enough Pokemon for today I reckon. Still, pretty pleased with my new team. I've been losing mostly to either misplays or hax, not difficult matchups.

Having a fantastic writing day. A lot of the time, writing academic stuff is boring and stressful and time-consuming. Every now and then though I just love it. I have a, "Yeah! This is why I'm doing this whole thing!" moment of clarity. Progress! :D #phdchat

Sometimes in fieldwork I just... I don’t know how to feel. Like, what is an appropriate/normal reaction to child marriage? It’s a complex situation and I don’t know whether I should be sad, angry, supportive, quiet, vocal... So I just end up fruitlessly anxious #PhDChat @PhDForum
