Precisely. Real research starts with asking a real question and it involves dua to Allah, who has answers to every question. An expert looks to his own expertise to find an answer. That’s wrong headed and borderline satanic. This explains why every expert is anti research or ilm.
@ProfMIslam Is this because when you hone in on a niche and become its expert, you have tunnel vision so you can’t see other potential pathways? As for the conclusion, I’m guessing it’s because believing in your knowledge as “expertise” is actually limiting yourself leading to arrogance.
