We screened all returning students with rapid antigen tests as they arrived on campus. ~6% of students were infected and they didn’t know! Glad they were identified and isolated, but it does highlight most of our highly vaccinated college population are low risk for poor outcomes

Sad news. I was lucky to meet Bernie and chat about science and signals when I visited @univofstandrews in Spring 2018. Still remember laughs we shared.
We are devastated about the passing of SMRU legend Dr Bernie McConnell. He had been with SMRU 40 years and served as both deputy director and head of @SMRU_Instrument. He was life and soul of every meeting and party, and will be hugely missed. Our thoughts are with his loved ones
