Now, this media scrum in the locker room? This is how you do it, imo, though I understand the need to laugh through your problems (but see my previous RT about being a captain and knowing how public comments are received).
AJ Brown on his comments: “After the game I said all the right answers and y'all still made a story. In that moment when I'm just talking and having fun with my friend, I'm not apologizing for that. 'Cause if you have eyes, you can see that. It's not that I was throwing anyone

“Me making light of my situation on Twitch my friend, that’s something I’m not apologizing for, because if you’ve got eyes, you can see that. That’s me trying to laugh through my situation.”

Jalen Hurts asked about AJ Brown's comments: "I know you gotta ask those questions, and I have a lot of respect for that. But my focus always gears back to what the collective is. Obviously AJ plays a pivotal role in what we do and what we've done."

He’s 100% right and I love that he said it

This is where I’m at with AJ Brown. Love him to death, one of my favorite Eagles ever…but he has to know that every time he voices his frustrations online, it’s gonna blow up. Granted, this hasn’t affected wins and losses…yet.
@Tim_McManus Translation: this offense stinks and it will cost them eventually. He knows it. We all know it. But there’s still a right and wrong way to go about it, especially when you’re a captain.

I think this season’s offensive “struggles” come down to 2 things: 1) I think this staff sometimes holds things back schematically in the reg season. Look at the roll they got in the playoffs. 2) I don’t think AJ Brown is fully healthy and I sometimes wonder if he’s being coy

The Eagles have played one of the most difficult schedules in the NFL and have beat pretty much every team you could conceivably see them losing to. This team knows what it’s doing. We were complaining about the passing game last year and look what happened. (1/2)

The Eagles lead the NFL in 3 and outs despite having what most would say is the most talented offense on paper in the NFL. The players are mostly the same. The only difference is the play caller. It’s easy to see what the issue is.

I’ll be honest, you put any other HC in here the last four years and this team falls apart like the Bluesmobile. May never see a better “right guy, right time” scenario in our lives.

Stephen A. Smith dedicated much of a recent episode of his show to publicly shaming several women.

We interrupt the (justifiable) AJB hand-wringing to shine a light on something positive.
From @NextGenStats: Quinyon Mitchell is allowing 49% completion percentage against and ranks second behind only Patrick Surtain in the NFL in average separation when targeted this season.

It’s true. Some of y’all didn’t live through Buddy Ryan, Rich Kotite, Bubby Brister, Brad Goebel, Ray Rhodes, or Bobby Hoying…and it shows.
From @MikeSielski: (My inclusion: Some) #Eagles fans don't know how good they have it right now.

I mean…expectations are high in Philly and physical health wasn’t his only issue in Baltimore. Given what happened last week in Dallas, I hope he finds peace.
Just in: #Eagles CB Jaire Alexander has informed the team he is stepping away from football to focus on getting himself right physically and mentally, per @JayGlazer. Philadelphia acquired Alexander from Baltimore before the trade deadline. He never played for them.

I'm not super mad about the game, because I do think GB is a legitimately good team & winning a game at Lambeau is tough. But man, the Eagles are just leaving so much meat on the bone. And it's now far enough into the season that it seems like this is just kinda how it's gonna be

If this shocks you, look at who the Eagles have left on their schedule, then look at who SEA and LAR have (they play each other twice). Eagles could lose to DET Sunday and still be okay…not great, but okay. LAR also plays DET.
The Eagles win to improve to 7-2 ESPN Analytics now gives the Philly the best chances at earning the 1 seed in the NFC
