Its been going on for years. We wrote Dan, I believe in 2006 when we read an NIH research talking about him presenting this (our) result. He responded that it was a misunderstanding and clarified it. That's a long standing misunderstanding now on National TV.
@dggoldst @ProfEricJohnson You've just been danned!.

Thanks Dilip. Interesting that models are now au courant if they are AI/Machine Learning, but simple linear models (and improper models) are applicable where these more data hungry models are not. .
@dggoldst As a close second I'd nominate @CFCamerer and @ProfEricJohnson (1991), The Process-Performance Paradox in Expert Judgment, or Klayman and Ha (1987), Confirmation, Disconfirmation. .

Glad to see this.
Gino's case against us has been dismissed. Scientists cannot effectively sue other scientists for exposing fraud/errors in their work. Those who work to correct the scientific record can sleep better tonight. Those who don’t want it corrected, well, I don’t care how they sleep.

Thank you Colin. Coming from you, this is very meaningful. .
Big congrats to my collaborator and friend @ProfEricJohnson for this very well-deserved APS Cattell Fellow award, for a ton of policy-relevant applied psychology. #econtwitter was *just* lamenting the scarcity of AEA awards for world-changing applied research like this
