Brilee Petty, an amazing student represented my lab at todays Posters at the Capitol. At this event undergrads get to present their work to local Senators and State representatives. We also had lunch with the Interim President of the University. Way to go Brilee!

I grew up in Mexico the first 30 years of my life and there I am the statistical definition of normal. I came to the USA in 2000. Boy what an eye-opening experience has been to be a minority! I am challenging myself and all my colleagues to be better allies. #diversityNAPPN
