I don't trade Fridays. Fridays typically close the week out near the weeks high or low, think OHLC/OLHC for a weekly bar. Thus Fridays often end up consolidating with choppy price action during the NY session, like it did for todays NY session. The only time I consider trading

@ProbableChris Hey Chris! Thanks for all the stuff you have posted. I was curious if you have any insights on today’s (October 24th) IB and how would you have played it.

This is how I trade, if the trade is based on continuation of a trend. Price should retrace 40%-60% of the most recent leg of movement, than continue its direction. Coming out of the retracement is where the entry would occur. If the previous in control low or high from the

A well put together trading strategy/process should include entry criteria and entry trigger(s). Criteria being "conditions" and triggers being "actions". There is a million combinations that could be created using these two components. If you are in a stage in your journey

Today. The technical/mechanical aspects of trading is not what holds people back. Its their lack of ability to follow a process, manage risk, and accept loss. The technical part is the easiest part.

@ProbableChris It's never that clean. There are consolidations and liquidity grabs, false breaks, expansions both ways etc. If this was that easy, almost everyone would be making money not 1% and you could easily code it. It never is.

Took the "IB Stats" Short and called it a day with that ~100pt win. "Noon Curve" also provided, putting in a AM high within the high prob time and price window, and giving the Q1 break (learn about this on my site, https://t.co/dtjfo3pGPB). Both coming out of a 40%-60%

Trend continuation based trades combined with statistical confluence to hold to a high expectancy target. The technical aspect of discretionary trading is not what holds traders back, its the lack of ability to follow a process, accept losses as normal, and properly position size

For those looking at this and saying "well that's just premium/discount". No. Pullbacks to the ~50% range for continuation of trend were well documented all the way back to the early 1900's. One of the earliest documented notes of this was by William Delbert Gann in "How to Make

"ALN Session" stats gave a pattern 4, favoring downside break. "IB Break" stats gave a downside break expectancy as well. Two shorts for the morning. How did everyone else do? Check https://t.co/Udbvx3LWE6 for free statistical data.

The IB Break data I have at https://t.co/Z6rj9zUTmg is a trend continuation stat. Trend continuation is identified by higher highs, higher lows. Pullbacks should come out of 40%-60% retracements into the prior up leg from the last retracement, where that "higher low" forms.

Combining ALN Sessions data and RTH data, here is this morning. ALN Sessions is giving a pattern 3, which creates a historical probability of 79% that price will break the London High. Additionally, if price can hold inside prior days RTH (green box), there is a 73% probability
