Between 23-24 August, our trainers led the Bengaluru leg of the Girls Positive and Safe Coaching Pathway program. In partnership with @TafisaOffice, the training equipped local coaches with the knowledge and tools to build safe and supportive environments for girls in sports.

On 29th Aug, our Bhubaneswar team celebrated National Sports Day with Community Cricket Program participants through games and reflections on its history. At PSD, we use this day to reaffirm our commitment to every young person’s right to play, physical activity, and sport.

On 14th August, our team in Panipat, Haryana, conducted an engagement session with the parents of young people participating in the Udaan program. A total of 67 parents (42% mothers) attended the session, which introduced two key program elements, kabaddi and gender, to them.

We completed the Delhi leg of our Girls Positive and Safe Coaching Pathway training program 2025, implemented with TAFISA 🟣. We received a fantastic response from sport organizations in Delhi, with 50+ practitioners joining the workshop. Thank you to those who could make it! 🙌🏾

On 14th August, PSD’s trainers, Akash Thapa and Nalini Singh, conducted an orientation for participants of our upcoming TAFISA Pathway workshop in New Delhi on 17th-18th August. The session outlined key details about the Pathway and clarified expectations for participants.

On 12th August, our Community Sports Coordinators facilitated a capacity-building session for our Community Youth Leaders, focusing on session planning and delivery, maintaining attendance records, and effectively understanding and implementing the CSP curriculum.

We are excited to share that the Community Sports Program for 2025-26 is now underway! Currently being implemented across three schools in Bhubaneswar, the program has already reached 154 young participants. The initial weeks featured introductory sessions and ice-breakers!
