@deejayumb For this tour the first half was his nasty songs as Bob George, he was shot at the end and descended below the stage at the end of the first half. Then he rose up purified to finish out the show. It’s crazy to me that this was my first concert when I was 15

@deejayumb Lovesexy was a masterpiece. Prince certainly didn't make it easy for himself or the listener (an observation, not a repoach). Imo his style and musical ingenuity reached his peak in this era. The amount of projects between 86 and 88 is mind boggling. Did he even sleep?

@deejayumb 😂 That’s exactly what depresses me. We need a double album with the Black Album on one side and Lovesexy on the other — it would really highlight the duality he’s so known for.
