Think it’s obvious that Liverpool & Man City have the highest quality attacking options once again. Firepower all over the shop. Even their midfielders can make big goal contributions.

The technical quality/carry-job of Ait-Nouri & Cunha ripped out of Wolves’ left flank and their answer so far is just to have more physicality on that left flank with Wolfe & Bellegarde. Jhon Arias is nothing more than OK. They need more final third quality or they’re in trouble.

The way Reijnders has moved and passed for all 3 Man City goals. This is one of the best ever Premier League debut performances from a midfielder.

RT @PremLeaguePanel: @__EmmanuelSavit Reijnders for sure, can see him slotting into Gundogan’s old role next to Rodri. Getting players out….

Pure class from Tijjani Reijnders. Silky turn in the middle of the park, holds off his marker with his physicality and then produces a brilliant chipped pass over the top of the Wolves defence. The vision behind him being the Gundogan replacement is clear.

Rodrigo Muniz should be an every game starter for Fulham, this is one of the highest quality pure finishers in the league. The bench is not the place for him - Marco Silva must change that immediately.

Kudus RW >>> West Ham using him at LW or left-sided striker for many games actually led to his worse performances last season which meant he became undervalued at ÂŁ55m. They developed him poorly in that second season and Spurs got a good value transfer in as a result.

Spurs lack high quality passers (bar Porro). It’s why their counter-attacking threat reduced to zero in the last 10 minutes without Kudus’ superpower of being able to retain and carry the ball under pressure and turn scraps into counters.

Pape Sarr’s ability to eat up space… Valverde & Szoboszlai-esque shift. Frank has gone man to man on PSG’s midfield 3 and Sarr is following Vitinha’s classic drop and runs into midfield all the way and helping cover any 4v3 overloads generated by Dembélé dropping in.

Liverpool look vulnerable immediately after possession turnovers. They need to improve their counter-press after losing the ball. This is one side effect of Szoboszlai not playing 10. He quickly closed spaces from the front to stop transitions after possession was lost. When this.

Book Adam Wharton’s place on that plane to the States next summer immediately. 3 Wembley appearances in a row vs Aston Villa, Man City & Liverpool that he has made game-changing impacts in. Yet he isn’t being given chances to play at Wembley for England. Well that should change.

JP Mateta is a real force. Holds it up against physical CBs like VVD/Konaté and links well. Runs in-behind well. Dominates aerials in the box. Solid finisher. He’s a late bloomer but he’s a high quality striker.

At long last, Everton’s transfer policy looks like it is moving in the right direction. Thierno Barry can have a peak Michail Antonio type impact for Moyes as his 9. Amazing physical traits with his pace, power and aerial game. And has decent box instincts even though his.

Peak Heung-Min Son seamlessly replaced an injured Kane as the 9 and was destroying peak Pep Man City to knock them out the Champions League. That’s how good he was.

World class finisher off both feet, speed, high IQ decisions & solid technical ability in his passing/crossing. 8 seasons (2016/17 - 2023/24) with numbers that had him as one of the most lethal attackers in the world. Heung-Min Son will be remembered as a Premier League legend.

If the plan is to move Rice to RCM & use Eze at LCM to combine in tight spaces with Martinelli LW,then go for it Arsenal. Good shots will rain in from the left. But if the plan is Eze LW then not much changes vs deep blocks- Eze in isolation out wide is not a potent game-changer.
