Our latest paper just hit the web! This one is about how we have used SpaDES to build in seamless validation for complex models. We witnessed Occam's Razor in action -- simpler is better, but only when we need simple outputs! @PFC_CFS @CeresBarros

All of this is starting to be available through an "evergreen" web app where you can look at results with and without climate change. Please do check it out, and let us know what think! https://t.co/LVufRCHnOz

BUT: What about forest harvesting? What about carbon? How does this affect all of the above? Well, we are modelling that too using an open source forest harvest model and forest carbon model #CBMCFS3! (led by G. Paradis and @cboisvenue)

(continued/n) The clincher: BRINGING IT ALL TOGETHER for multi-species lands planning! Some key questions are: Are #caribou a good umbrella species for lands planning today, and in future?

Avian species forecasts include both boreal #waterfowl & #landbirds🦆🐦 We have produced spatially explicit forecasts of species-specific changes in abundance and density - and also include the uncertainty around these forecasts. Which species increase depends on where you are.
