The request for voluntary curtailment was made throughout MISO's region. As a cooperative, Boone Power believes in a collaborative approach; as such, we shared MISO's request with our members and employees. We appreciate everyone's efforts to conserve energy in extreme weather.

Boone Power & MISO (grid operator) are asking members to voluntarily reduce electricity use as a precautionary measure. Small, temporary steps, like adjusting your thermostat, delaying laundry and dishwashing, and turning off devices, can help maintain reliability. Thank you!
