Minister of ICT, Dr. J. Muswere commissioned the Telecommunications Traffic Monitoring System (TTMS) at POTRAZ today. The TTMS is a revenue assurance system that allows POTRAZ to track traffic by operators in realtime hence calculate revenue generated by each operator in realtime

Today POTRAZ through USF handed over computers to 8 schools in Masvingo Urban to digitally equip their computer labs. ICT Minister Dr. Muswere and his Deputy Hon. Phuti physically visited all the 8 schools to check on the progress. Next stop... Chiredzi tomorrow.
Yesterday The Ministry of ICT and POTRAZ were in Midlands the whole day ensuring that rural learners are not left behind in this digital age. 10 schools were commissioned with ICT labs (computers and Internet connection) in Kwekwe, Gweru, Shurugwi and Zvishavane.

Service providers should issue bills which are clear and establish verifiable charges in a format that can be easily understood. Bills should be complete so that consumers can confirm or challenge billing information, including call charges, payments and late charges.
Key issues under discussion include: USD sales, RBZ foreign currency allocation, FIU directive on physical recharge cards, taxation of the sector, telecoms price adjustments. A collective way forward is being agreed on each issue between the Regulator and the Operators.
