So we went downtown to see this coastal city, but spent most of the time in the shopping mall because it was freezing, rainy, & windy 😁 BUT still enjoyed it.

Semester 1⃣.✅Our paper (my first official #AHCI paper ) was accepted for publication after minor revisions (after 1 rejection).✅Presented an online mini-lecture.✅Erasmus program for a week . And the drama at the word place comes and goes.

#AcademicTwitter, #workdiaries as #assistantprof. Week 5⃣. No drama! A good week, except for headaches all week! Finished revising our paper. Waiting for Erasmus's approval from host uni. Just learned I will work with one of the best in the field as my mentor for a year.

How to lose 2kg in a day?. 1⃣ Make sure you have a severe headache. 2⃣ Drink coffee (if you can't or shouldn't). Vola! Headache & ruined digestive system result in a 2kg loss within a day!.

#AcademicTwitter, one reason to avoid checking your work emails after work hours is to create small surprises. If you receive good news, you'll start your workday feeling happy. If the news is bad, you will save yourself from ruining hours or days, especially on the weekend.

#AcademicTwitter, I have decided not to do anything work-related on weekends. BUT when you are used to always working, it gets tough. It is not even 9 p.m., I am bored and can't find anything to do. Maybe I should go to bed early, cuddle with the kitty, and read a novel!.
