Hospital culture is so toxic that staff members are afraid of calling off because they’re sick due to fear of leaving their team short staffed and fear of attendance record that they come to work sick and then infect the whole unit. What do we need to do to change this?

Surgeons complaining about patients not walking in the biggest nursing shortage / staffing crisis I've ever seen is just embarrassing. Come work the floor with us and see why we don't have time to walk a 2 assist down the halls for 15 minutes.
