Sixth grade science students were asked the question- does changing an object’s mass or speed affect the object’s kinetic energy? Then, they were given hot wheels, cardboard, & other supplies to find out. Students learned that both affect KE with speed having the greatest impact.

6th grade ELA participated in a socratic seminar. Students collaborated and shared their thoughts insights into the transformation that has happened in our Module 1 text Bud, Not Buddy. We were so impressed with their preparation and the academic discussion that took place 😊
