Regents’ Grant drives groundbreaking ADOT research on inexperienced driver safety. On the team of researchers from Arizona State University is Heejin Jeong, assistant professor in the #ASUEngineering human systems engineering program.

Kellam is proud of the fact that the first #ASUEngineering teaching award they received was in 2020, given the obstacles that professors had during that time and that their teaching improved as a result of having to think about learning from a student perspective.

Other accomplishments that he is proud of include a National Science Foundation CAREER Award, an award for his paper on IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics and being a featured author on the IEEE Xplore homepage. In his spare time, he loves soccer and table tennis.

👏Elliot R. Cherner, faculty associate in the information technology program, enjoys teaching #ASUEngineering students, especially in the areas of web development and programming. Other accolades include celebrating 25 years with the Maricopa Community colleges.

Katherine Hillerman, instructor in the graphic information technology program, or GIT, shares her expertise with #ASUEngineering students in the areas of graphic, UX, and web design. She’s been teaching in the GIT program for almost 3 years and this is her first faculty award.
