đ¨Donald Trump's White House remarks on SA's farm murder epidemic were not wrong it seems. In October 1997 President Nelson Mandela himself conceded that farmers were being "massacred" under his govt. Between 1991 and 1997, 677 people killed in farm attacks, a death toll greater

Xenophobic violence doesnât spring from a vacuum. Itâs the last-resort and predictable â though never justifiable â reaction of excluded citizens who believe, often perfectly correctly, that their jobs, services and social fabric are being eroded by foreigners. WSM's column on

These are the ANC govt's 1930s-style race quotas for white males that all significant businesses and institutions must implement over the next five years, starting today.

The state capture of the Zuma era was just the start. Under Ramaphosa, itâs got deeper, broader, stronger. Corruption is no longer an aberration but SAâs default condition. WSMâs column on @Politicsweb. https://t.co/tqu9A4w2YU

Daily Maverick highlighting a disturbing trend in South Africa whereby peaceloving youth are getting shot at just for hitting MPs over the head with bricks.
We really are in a bad place as a country when you can't even attack people with bricks without getting shot at. Very violent place https://t.co/0OYzMT6Qej

The ANC and MTN are like debris circling a plughole. Both are caught in the vortex of an Iranian whirlpool unleashed by the US. Linked by execs who shuttle between party and boardroom, they're beginning to grasp the high cost of their embrace of Tehran. WSM's column on

The military tilts Islamist. Itâs simply not feasible that the Chief of SANDF could go to Tehran and talk alliances with Iran without the ministers of DIRCO and DoD â never mind Ramaphosa â having foreknowledge. Heads must roll. WSMâs column on @Politicsweb.

As SA confronts the national crisis of Trump's tariffs, Ramaphosa has shown that he is willing to try for a compromise. Even grovel a little. No, not towards the US. Towards the SACP, to help secure the communist 'National Democratic Revolution'. WSM's column on @Politicsweb.

Emma Powell was hounded by her government and betrayed by her party. Her ordeal is a measure of the ANCâs determination to exclude the DA from meaningful participation in the GNU. Itâs also a failure of leadership by John Steenhuisen. WSMâs column on @Politicsweb

These are moderate requests for the GNU to take actions, which they should have taken anyway, and are in South Africa's national interest.
It's not true that there's been 'no feedback'. Ask the various Afrikaner delegations. The US wants movement on: 1. Exempting US entities from BEE. (Not scrapping BEE.) 2. Amending â not scrappingâ the Expropriation Act. 3. Condemning â not banning â 'Kill the Boer, kill the

A cause well worth supporting against a despicable campaign of ANC bullying, with a large pack of media dogs in rabid support, targeting a a courageous school principal. Were it not for Wilkinson battling virtually singlehandedly, she'd have been shredded and forgotten long ago.

After pledging that it wouldnât unless the ANC fired 3 ministers implicated in corruption, the DA rolled over and voted for the Appropriation Bill. Itâs the latest in a long, sorry saga of dramatic DA âred linesâ that turn out to be written in chalk. WSMâs column on @Politicsweb.

Ramaphosa is losing it, his power unravelling. Dumb decisions on Mkhwanazi and the US; flat-out lies about Mcebisi Jonas. Now he accuses his DA partners of plotting illegal regime change. As the ANC-aligned Sisulu Foundation says, it's time for him to go. WSMâs column on

What Mkhwanazi sketches â in essence, State Capture 2.0 â is worse than the Zuma era. This is way beyond white-collar crime. The ANC is now blatantly protecting violent criminal syndicates that terrorise ordinary citizens. WSMâs column on @Politicsweb. https://t.co/xBdiBR34Cs

Just a reminder how deep rooted ANC political-criminality is, and how far back it stretches. The ANC's paramilitaries propelled it to power, and their pound of flesh was the right to act with impunity. All state institutions that stood in their way - from murder and robbery units
2. Why such an armed robbery problem? During the armed struggle it was ANC doctrine that once infiltrated into the country MK cadres should use 'repossession' to secure operational funds. ANC supporters on the ground were also encouraged to use robbery and theft to secure funds
