Glad to hear in the #KingsSpeech that the govt will set up a modernisation committee for the House of Commons to drive up standards. I hope @BritishQuakers can work with the committee. Disappointed there wasn't more in the speech on revitalising our democracy.

The Police Act should never have passed - it undermines our human rights. I'm glad it's now been judged to discriminate against Gypsies and Travellers, as it so clearly does.
