A comment from Chris I wanted to share here, we one piece fans can be too spoiled but there's always things we're not aware of behind the scenes in a tough industry like this, especially with an anime like one piece that is limited in many factors

I think this movie was the first time we see Naoki Tate go for a more loose approach with one piece, that later becomes iconic in arcs like water 7, enies lobby, thriller bark and saboady

In 3 days we'll get the preview for this anticipated chapter. I don't know what to expect but maybe rotation wise it could be directed by Tasuku Shimaya or Hyun Ieri? both are really good directors imo and they would be effective enough if given good resources

Animator discovery P2: Genta Ishimori (Saitowa). The hero of Dandadan. Saitowa's art has strong personality with thin lines but their effects are legit suberb, it's a real joy to witness this level on Dandadan
Animator discovery: Hiroshi Shinomoto . Thanks to their great work on Yaiba, i looked up more of this kanada school animator's work. it's really damn good, there's something very unique about their art, i like the exaggerated facial expressions and wind effects
