Fun historical fact. The 12-team format with auto-bids for the 5 highest ranked champions (it was 6 originally) was unanimously approved in 2021 by: - Big 10 - ACC - Big 12 - SEC - Pac 12 - Notre Dame (who has a vote!) Tulane doesn't have a vote, but ND did and endorsed this.
