Born #OTD in 1877 at The Manse in Holt. Leigh Richmond Roose. Won the first of 24 @Cymru caps in 1900 at Llandudno vs Ireland and was a member of the first Welsh squad to win the Home Championship in 1907. @SpencerVignes's book on Roose is a must read
