New, @shure MV7i, an unexpected mic. 2 channel, audio interface built into the mic means you can plug any other mic. or instrument into the XLR combo input and get two separate audio channels into your computer or mobile device via 1 USB-C connection.

A podcaster reviewing a condenser mic!? . Am I throwing away my SM7b? I mean, the SM4 is in the same family and it sounds really, really good 🤷.

And if you're a podcaster, it should excite you that it's an open-sourced, on the way to decentralized, software. It's like the RSS of social apps. Own your own.

After using it for awhile, @bluesky is a better experience than here including features where I didn't realize there were new things to add. It has early day twitter vibes and none of the garbage this place promotes.

I'm both, an avid content consumer & creator. I enjoy good content but I *love* good content that is well made. Production quality matters cause it lets the content shine & envelops the viewer. Kudos to all the makers who are always trying to improve their work. I see you.

New review! @Sony ZV-E10II Worth the upgrade from the ZV-E10, if you don't have one already, and nothing missing from the a6700 that you need. Starting in video, YouTube? Probably no better option right now.

Big fan & user of @streamyardapp but very curious why my recent local recording of someone w/ a bad connection came out the same as the recording sent to the cloud aka the mix compared to the iso version. Local should not have been affected by connection, that's the point right?.

In my quest to find even better noise removal tools for difficult audio, in the age of AI, I've gone from using Descript (using the free model, now much less free) to using @Adobe Podcast and in some cases it's really good. The big bonus is how they also control reverb.

Noticed, over time, that a couple of the, browser-based recording apps for connecting with others remotely, still suffer from audio getting stepped on when two people speak at the same time. Since these are recording in the browser, this seems like a thing that shouldn't happen.
