O’Block’s 4th graders blasted off on a stellar adventure to the Carnegie Library Lecture Hall! Thanks to Pittsburgh Arts & Lectures and the Grable Foundation, students enjoyed an out-of-this-world performance by Mac Barnett and Shawn Harris. It was an unforgettable experience!

Kindness rocks and so do these first graders!! To celebrate World Kindness Day, these firsties listened to stories about kindness then painted rocks. They’re going to hide the rocks around the community to brighten others’ days!

Today is world diabetes day! Pivik 2nd Grader, Chloe, got to tell her class all about her special day with the Pitt Panthers. Through the Children’s Diabetes Foundation of Pittsburgh, she was asked to be the Pitt Panthers honorary Junior captain! Go Chloe and go Pitt!!!
