Since people asked in the last post about methods: I calculated the expected win % for each gun in untraded fights by looking at a big number of duels Then I looked at all duels for each player and gave them credit for winning harder fights and less credit for easier ones

Top 15 DEADLIEST Players in VCT 2025 An average VCT player dueling NoMan was 7.36% more likely to lose with equal gunpower. Looking only at untraded fights and weighing weapon strength, these were the players that you DID NOT want to peek alone. International events only

Missed one thing about teamplay here. Actually not a single team that won a major this year has individual players far in the top ๐ The era of solo carries might be over in VALORANT but we'll have to wait and see for 2026 since all the initiator util was nerfed...
Top 15 Most IMPACTFUL Players of VCT 2025 t3xture's kills increased his team's chances of winning every single round GEN played by 20% Super interesting to see Champs winner mada at #14 (with no other NRG players in the top 15), again proving that teamplay > solo performances

Had an awesome time with everyone this event! Learned a lot that both our GC and VCT players can definitely take forward with them into next year. Wish everyone the best in the future!

Most teams still use Google Sheets to track scrims. I built an automated Valorant Scrim Dashboard for my team this year tracking every player, scrim & comp, with live VCT benchmark comparisons. How I Track and Streamline Scrim Data at Wolves Esports

Also I think the existence of Veto is the ultimate example of said util power creep reaching a crazy point My hope is that this change and general mentality will make it so Tejo/Veto's kits don't have to be thought up as ideas in the first place

I agree that the Champs meta was the most diverse we've seen and a pretty healthy state of the game! But considering the fact that Riot are inevitably gonna keep releasing new agents and maps, this change might be the best compromise we get to have balanced metas in the future

To give a more positive perspective: Riot are showing clear intent to stop the power creep that's been happening With some gun balancing, this could be better in the long run! New agents can have creative util (rather than raw power like Tejo), but not feel too underwhelming

At least give him some ult duration back?
Patch 11.08 // Yoru & Neon Changes // #VALORANT YORU โข Clone and Flash duration DECREASED from 2s to 1.6s. โข Can no longer flash or set up his clone in ultimate. NEON โข Sprint regenerates slower though she can sprint for longer ๐: @arivalorantt

During SENโs peak in 2024, TenZ and Sacy controlled mid rounds playing double initiator or initiator + Omen comps Itโs natural for there to be a loss of confidence in the middle of the map with N4RRATE/bang, but their experiences from 2025 is more than enough for them to grow!

Sentinels seemed to struggle on defense towards the end of 2025 With Viper becoming a key pick in many comps, it felt like their DEF broke down in the mid round on certain maps without johnqt/zellsis on initiators In 2024 they had more success winning mid-late rounds on defense

3. Map Tendencies and Statistics - Fnatic have NEVER lost a post plant on ABYSS at champs - 93.3% of Fnatic's plants on Lotus are after 50s - In longer rounds, NRG like the choice to end B. Their post plant win rate is 90% in late round B plants. More details in graphic below

2. FNATIC Attacking vs NRG Defending (style matchup) FNATIC are good at starting in a default and transitioning into an early mid round exec, but if that timing is missed, NRG will start hunting for round winning info/control

Champs 2025 Grand Final Preview 1. NRG Attacking vs FNATIC Defending (style matchup) FNC love the mid round defensive re-clear timings and NRG seem weak to them. If NRG can counter or avoid them and make it later into attack rounds, that's where they're more comfortable
