It’s so funny to see people boast about their family’s accomplishments as some reflection of themselves like dude you weren’t responsible for any of that.
I think if your family has hundreds of years of history in America you are frankly more American than somebody who migrated to America in 2015.

I get that I’m in a bubble here but I have not seen a single hint that Cuomo is campaigning, like at all, not even gaffes . And meanwhile Mamdani is doing 12 mile hikes.
On Friday night, we walked the length of Manhattan, from Inwood Hill to Battery Park. New Yorkers deserve a Mayor they can see, hear, even yell at. The city is in the streets.

people from small towns really have no idea how big these megacities are do they . sure a street burning may mean the end of Podunk, Oklahoma but that’s just a regular day in LA.
I don't know who needs to hear this but Los Angeles is not burning to the ground and if you believe this, you are easily manipulated by propaganda, lack basic critical thinking skills and are simply really stupid.

because they see themselves as victims and Trump was the only politician (and Bernie to an extent) to vocalize that . Trump also speaks off the cuff and doesn’t care about gaffes, making him appear more authentic than any politician, including Walz . It’s not that complicated.
If Tim Walz was the wrong person to motivate white-working class men, we have to grapple with why Donald Trump was the right one. But we keep avoiding that question.
