Map freeze issue should now be fixed - we’ll keep monitoring just in case. Also added an X to the guess modal so you can cancel the spot flow anytime & prompt location access when trying to spot - if location was disabled🏗️
We're aware of two bugs affecting some users (device specific):. 1️⃣ Pera not opening for signup signing.2️⃣ Map occasionally freezes. Fixes are in the works 🛠️.

We realized it wasn’t very clear in the UI that you can guess up to 3 aircraft - so we’ve updated the button to dynamically show how many guesses you have left. Guess more = earn more XP 👀✈️

Overall, we’re very happy with the beta launch so far. The signup → spotting flow works well, users are coming back daily, and we’re seeing some organic traction. Thanks for your support. We’ll keep improving the app and gradually ramp up marketing during the beta ✈️. 🧵(3/3).

We’ve also received 4 positive reviews from early users 🙌. We did lose a few signups due to wallet accounts without 0.001 algo. Also learned our PWA config doesn't work on all devices - that’ll be fixed soon. 🧵(2/3).

Reflecting on Planeify’s beta launch this week:. We onboarded 16 new users - 7 signed up via wallet, 9 via Google - thanks to our X post and a plane spotter forum drop. Even more exciting: 5 users have been spotting every day for 4-5 days straight. 🚀. 🧵(1/3)

We noticed that some users couldn’t sign up via wallet due to insufficient spendable Algo for the proof transaction. We've now added a check that lets you know right away if your wallet has enough to sign up or log in. ✅
