In Mano, young girls also stepped into leadership positions, working with Paramount Chiefs to create local laws that promote gender equality. Both events showcased the strength and leadership of girls in shaping their futures. #UniteForPeace

In Gandorhun, girls, including sponsorship children, became Paramount Chiefs and Mammy Queens for a day, engaging in media discussions and a community symposium. They worked alongside traditional leaders to draft and sign bye-laws aimed at protecting children. #UniteForPeace

On Oct 11, @Plan_SLE, in partnership with @mogca_S_L, @RestDevSalone, and local youth networks, celebrated #IDG2024 in Moyamba District. Girls in Gandorhun, Fakunya Chiefdom, & Mano, Dasse Chiefdom, stepped into leadership roles to promote gender equality & child protection.
