But of course, anyone who knows him will say that he was a good person and was great company. He was witty, stylish, and smart and we are poorer without him. Rest in peace Neil.

I've known Neil for about eight years, and took his role in public life seriously and set an example for younger generations to follow. In his entire time at Newham Council, he made a tremendous contribution.
