1/n We are open sourcing ECSAct: Exact Coherent Structure library for Active Matter. Built on top of excellent it will allow computation of exact stable and unstable equilibria, travelling waves, periodic orbits etc in confined active matter systems.

Weyl calculus generalizes Fourier transforms to enable solution of space dependent (aka non-constant coefficient) linear PDEs. Inverse scattering transform / Lax theory does the same for some nonlinear PDEs. Are there any such other "broad" generalizations of Fourier transform ?.
