omg it actually builds!! :D honestly unexpected so quickly, cause I wrote so much code, and it was in a not-building state forever, and when I finally finished the changes, -- big thanks to clangd btw -- I only had like 3 build errors to fix, before it was successful

anyone happen to know/experience, is GPT5 stupid at (plain) C or something? I know the language is convoluted but so are most human languages it speaks quite well, but I'm honestly getting the feeling it's confusing itself about pointers and references and how to do basic stuff.
