We've been struggling with a Toyota Hilux 2KD fuel delivery problems for almost 2 weeks now. We cleaned the injectors, egr, refixed the fuel line pipes properly, took the tank down, cleaned it, fuel filter, changed the lid but nothing then we thought of checking the wiring. 🙆🏾♂️

Buana we almost gave up. Fuel cuts only when driving past 2,200 RPMs. Revs smoothly while not driving. Injectors were good even before cleaning. Kumbe someone did their own wiring buana. Killed some ICs in the ECU in the process. Ah...mafundi yaaawa

Haha someone did a really messy job on the ignition side! Wipers, AC, Power Windows have all been working even when it's shut off and we only realised recently. Owner knew but never told us. You switch off, dash goes off but everything else stays on. 😂

Results are out. More and more manifestation of why we have been experiencing fuel system problems that could not even be properly diagnosed with a machine.
Mech 1: This vehicle has a fuel pump problem from the tank. Mech 2: Let's remove it and check it. A few minutes later: Call the owner before we proceed. 🥲

A Complete Engine Replacement for the Turbodiesel 1.5L Mazda CX-3 after we discovered lots of water entry into the combustion chambers. It took a while for the customer to get the finances in order but finally we closed this chapter. Part 1 before testing.
