Devin Kerr broke the Piper school record in the high jump at the ESU Relays Friday night. The previous record was a tie at 6’04” by Bryant Rogers in 2017 and Scott Rome in 1980. Devin jumped 6’06” to become the new school record holder. Congratulations Devin!

Tyjanae Hooks broke her own shot put record at her first track meet of the season. Tyjanae threw 37’08” to better her record by 5 inches. That is a great start to her season!

Dominique Herrig-Brittian, Grant Lockwood, LaMar Lynch, & Divante Herrig-Brittian have the fastest time in the entire state of Kansas, all classes combined this year and set a 5A state record with a time of 41.64. Amazing accomplishment!

Check out these two T&F alums playing against each other this past Saturday. Jonathan Ortiz threw shot & discus from 11-14 and held the school record in discus for several years. JJ Letcher was a sprinter & jumper from 15-17 and was a member of the 2017 state champion 4x1m relay.
