A mentoring program, Pirate PALS matches PHS students to a younger mentee at @PiperElementary or @PiperCreek. Elementary students are paired with a high school mentor who has similar interests and can provide positive connections and act as a role model. #PiperProud 💜🏴☠️

Session 2 of Tech Camp was this week! Ss completed different projects using coding, graphic design with the laser cutter, stop motion animation, research, and video production with the green screen. Both sessions worked hard and let their creativity take over! It was a BLAST!

This was our first week of Tech Camp! Ss participated in different enrichment activities each day, such as coding, graphic design, stop motion animation, research, and movie production. There was a lot of creativity and critical thinking taking place, but mostly we had FUN!

5th grade Ss completed their Graphic Design project! They designed a keychain logo in Art and got to print a physical copy using the laser cutter in Tech! There are some future designers among us💜 Thanks @PiperCreekArt for team teaching with me! #futureready @PiperUSD203

3rd grade Ss got to hunt eggs using DASH! Inside each egg were pieces to the story they read. Once all eggs were collected, they glued the story parts together in the correct sequence. @WonderWorkshop #edtech #edtechchat #code #codingforkids
