👽 #Microbit Maze Game 👽. Score points by hitting the targets alternately. The metal ball closes the circuit at these targets, which are on the opposite corners of the cardboard box. The micro:bit keeps the score and the time. Loud @MSMakeCode sound with speaker of @Kitronik 🔊

#ScrappyCircuits meets #Lego and the #microbit (again). Fun games made by kids during my workshops last week. A marble with aluminium foil and conductive tape around it closes the circuit when it touches both paperclips in the cardboard cup.

Here are some more #LEGO Wobblebots, powered by the #microbit. Made by kids at a school in Rijswijk. I give them the building instructions you can see at the end of this video. Then they can use that basic mechanism to make their own funny wobblebot.

I had a lot of fun last week displaying my #microbit #LEGO robots at the Science festival of #Robocup2024. Many visitors were excited to see that kids can make funny robots with the micro:bit and geekservos. Here are some photos and a short video of my booth.⬇️

RoboCup is coming to the Netherlands and I'll be there. While advanced autonomous robots compete in Eindhoven, I'll show visitors all kinds of funny, easy to make #microbit robots. More info: and Teaser:

Here's another video of my #LEGO #microbit chain reaction with some extra details. @kitronik's simple servo board, 270 and 360 degrees geekservos of @elecfreaks, wait until coding blocks and woven conductive tape of @pimoroni were all very helpful to make this as you can see.

⛓️#LEGO chain reaction powered by the #microbit⛓️. I wanted to make something like this for a long time 😊 Tomorrow kids can make their own chain reactions during the last workshop of this school year. I made this one ⬇️as an example.

When I started teaching #ScratchJr I never expected that you can make a space game, a jump game, a hide and seek game, a maze game, a quiz, a memory game and a frogger game with this app. The games in my video are inspired by:.

🤖#microbit battle bots. 🤖. That was what these kids really wanted to make. After a lot of coding and quite some bug fixing it was finally time to test their robots. They made code for two micro:bits, for the game controller of @kitronik and for their robot's wuKong board.

I gave the #Scratch #microbit Radio Extension made by @BobBilsland a try. Works pretty well. My micro:bit Lego robot is coded in MakeCode to react to certain📻 messages. I control the robot using my keyboard, while a micro:bit connected to my Scratch project sends 📻 messages.

🚁The helicopter blades start spinning when you lift the helicopter. 🚁. When the #microbit detects that P0 is released, a #geekservo starts turning. When you put it down, P0 is pressed again and the spinning stops. Inspired by this video of @profbricks:

I am trying to make a flying UFO for my lessons next week. I used a rope to move the UFO and conductive tape to detect when the motor should stop. I've also tried some other ideas, but these projects became too complicated for a 90 minute workshop. I'm hoping this one is doable.

#microbit toss games made by kids this week during my Creative with code and Lego course. We used a cheap tilt switch (SW-520D) to detect when the Lego figure falls down.

#microbit #LEGO toss game. I used a cheap tilt switch (SW-520D) and attached it to a so called wrapper of @seeedstudio with double-sided tape. This way I made an easy to attach and reusable sensor for micro:bit LEGO projects. Works pretty well.

🤷geekservo NO-BOT🤷‍♂️. I found a pipe-insulation foam tube in our attic that has the perfect size to make a funny no-bot. No glue needed for attaching the head to the LEGO bricks. I only used a few pieces of easy to remove Scotch tape to attach the arms and legs. #microbit
