#Mentalhealth is health. πŸ‘‰ 1 in 5 Canadians experience a mental illness in any given year πŸ‘ˆ And yet, mental health is not taken as seriously, and treated as urgently, as physical health. This #WorldHealthDay, we recognize the need for #healthforall. #mentalhealthmatters

According to @CMHA_NTL, 3 in 4 Canadian children with a mental health issue can’t get the care they need because it is not available/isn’t covered by health insurance. In addition, the # of Canadians who were admitted to hospital for #substanceuse issues rose significantly.
