Tim Pool says the only reason he invited
@EmmaVigeland
on his show was to collect soundbites where she "said she wanted children to be able to watch porn at the age of ten years old".
This is why I generally don't think it's a good idea to go on Tim's show.
Tim Pool says although the story about Obama being gay is probably fake, it's still worth spreading because it helps "make [Democrats] look like degenerates"
Here's how Tim Pool introduces neo-Nazi Nick Fuentes on his show:
"Nick, they call you a white supremacist but you're here working with or for, you know, one of the most powerful black men"
Tim Pool's examples of evil communists:
1) The Joker; and
2) A US-backed South Vietnamese general who famously executed anyone he thought might have been a secret socialist.
In a video titled "Get WOIKE go BROKE On Steroids", Tim Pool says Disney needs to go back to "traditional American values"... and then immediately realises that Disney just reported record profits.
Tim Pool appears to think he could become a blacksmith if civilisation collapses, because he knows that "iron tends to be red" and he "can start a fire".
Tim Pool and the rest of the griftosphere want you to think this article about Chris Rufo is just another sad attempt by the woke media to smear an upstanding journalist.
Reality, as usual, is quite different. So let's have a look at how this sort of disinformation works:
Looks like Oli London is back on Tim Pool's show to promote his book, but he's changed the title from "Detransition: A Memoir" to "Gender Madness". Presumably because people pointed out that pretending to be Korean for instagram clout doesn't make you trans.
Yesterday, Tim Pool claimed he doesn't rely on Twitter as a source for his videos. "Almost all the stories I do are based on news sources", he says.
This is a lie! I recorded every single source Tim used over the course of a month (~90 videos) and here's what I found:
A few days ago Tim Pool held a "members only" live show, and the audience was exactly what you'd expect.
When Tim says he is "building culture", this is what he means.
To be clear, Emma said no such thing, but that doesn't matter to Tim. He'll still say "we had a leftist on the show and she literally admitted she wants to show kink porn to kids". It becomes part of the Tim Pool canon whether or not it's true.
As Emma discovered, all Tim wants to do is bring up cherry-picked anecdotes or irrelevant hypotheticals until he thinks he has you trapped. There's no honest conversation to be had, just grifting.
Tim Pool says Trump will end the war in Ukraine in 10 minutes, by using the genius strategy of... asking everyone to stop fighting. Can't believe nobody has thought about trying that yet.
Some real antisemitic stuff on Tim Pool's show tonight: Guest "Hotep Jesus" claims the Russian Revolution was financed by Jewish people.
Zero pushback from Tim, of course.
Most people love children's author Roald Dahl for his vivid imagination.
But not Tim Pool's editor, who instead credits Dahl for introducing her to the concept that certain people are predisposed to criminality because of their skull shape.
Here's why you can never trust the false "anti-war" positions of the right:
Ann Coulter and Hannah-Claire Brimelow propose pulling funding out of Ukraine and instead using it to invade Mexico.
Tim Pool says donating money to humanitarian relief efforts in Palestine is actually supporting terrorism, because "the Palestinian people vote for Hamas".
There hasn't been an election in Gaza since 2006.
Tim Pool says he just can't empathise with the main love story on The Last Of Us, because the characters are "two burly bearded men".
"If it was a woman I would have understood"
In the past, Tim Pool has made a big deal out of the fact that he always refuses to wear a suit, no matter the occasion.
But give him the opportunity to lick Trump's boot, and an ill-fitting suit appears immediately. Beanie stays on, of course.
Tim Pool had two guys on his show to debunk the "man-made climate change cult narrative", and the conversation went off the rails so much they ended up talking about how scientists are trying to open "spiritual portals" and summon literal demons using particle accelerators.
How Tim Pool lies to you: Election fraud edition.
Today, Tim Pool criticised Trump's election fraud narrative. He brings up one of the classic fraud stories: The "suitcases" of secret votes hidden under a table in Georgia.
I was going to post this as a joke, but it looks like Tim Pool's fans sincerely think this video shows a good point being made rather than someone's brain melting in real time.
Anyway, if you actually read the article, you'll learn that the data scientist Rufo used to discredit Claudine Gay's academic work didn't just have "links to eugenicists", as the headline says - he wrote a paper claiming Jewish people evolved to be smarter than other people.
Rufo's entire shtick is to take right-wing ideas, give them a veneer of respectability, and launder them through cooperative liberal media outlets until he gets what he wants. That's why it matters that he's sourcing things from white supremacists.
Having done his best to incite violence at the border, Tim Pool is now saying the chances of a "false flag" attack are 100%.
This is exactly the same cowardly rhetorical pattern that Alex Jones uses.
Tim Pool & friends are posting the second page of George Floyd's autopsy, without mentioning that the first page rules his death as "Cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression" - i.e. not caused by drug overdose.
Tim Pool says women only identify as LGBTQ because they hang out with "low T feminist males", and would immediately become straight if they met a "ripped chad bro".
(Clip is from end of Dec 2023)
Tim Pool floats an insane theory in which Taylor Swift is violently attacked during the Super Bowl by a Federal agent pretending to be a Trump supporter in order to make the right wing look bad.
First, Rufo doesn't provide a link, just a screenshot of the headline. This is because the headline actually significantly downplays the content of the article. Rufo wants you to focus on phrases like "associated with" and "eugencists" rather than read the article itself.
And just to top it off, the paper cites Kevin MacDonald, who is an actual neo-Nazi. It doesn't really get any more mask-off than that. Saying this guy has "links to eugenicists" is like saying someone who co-wrote Mein Kampf has links to German workers' parties.
Speaking of racists, you might have noticed the co-authors of this paper. Emil Kirkegaard, for example, isn't just a "eugenicist", he's an explicit racist whose entire career is based on claiming black people are genetically inferior to white people.
Two hour's worth of "leftist" Jimmy Dore on Tim Pool's show, and guess how many times they disagreed about something? Zero.
They almost got there when medicare-for-all was brought up, but Tim quickly pivoted to vaccine mandates. Crisis averted.
One of Tim Pool's favourite talking points at the moment is that Trump's "fake electors" scheme in Georgia was actually fine, because Democrats did the same thing in Hawai'i in 1960. Here he is berating
@BriannaWu
about it:
But Tim is being misleading, as usual.
The only way to combat people like Rufo is to keep showing that the criticisms they're putting forward aren't being made in good faith. That they don't care about truth, or liberal principles, they just want power.
This is a classic antisemitic trope, and feeds into myths about Jews manipulating the societies they live in. It's also a theory that always seems to go hand-in-hand with racist claims that other groups (always POC, of course) are genetically less intelligent.
Tim Pool says the only reason he invited
@EmmaVigeland
on his show was to collect soundbites where she "said she wanted children to be able to watch porn at the age of ten years old".
This is why I generally don't think it's a good idea to go on Tim's show.
This is why you can never trust people like Tim Pool on abortion issues:
Tim reports that Ohio just voted to allow abortion "up until birth".
But in reality, the Ohio amendment only protects abortion until "fetal viability".
Facing mild criticism from some of his right-wing buddies, Tim Pool has a complete meltdown and uploads a 48-minute video ranting about how everyone except him is grifting.
The lack of self-awareness is mindblowing.
Today's guest on TimcastIRL is Pedro Gonzalez, a fascist journalist who has written about how "white genocide" is real, how Juneteenth "marks the death of the old American nation", and how the neo-nazi Charlottesville murderer James Fields was actually innocent:
Today on TimcastIRL: Comicbook artist Ethan van Sciver is big mad that "strange women" joined the comics industry and he now he can't "glorify and exaggerate the female form" anymore.
So what does this have to do with the Claudine Gay plagiarism story? Well, nothing. But then again, the story itself had very little to do with plagiarism in the first place. Rufo targeted Gay because she was a "diversity hire", not because he cares about academic standards.
If you want to feel smart today, watch Tim Pool spend almost two minutes trying to understand a single sentence, counting on his fingers as he goes, and still end up with the opposite of what the sentence actually says.
Tim Pool thinks his band of cancelled dad rockers is bigger than Taylor Swift, says nobody would listen to Taylor Swift if her songs weren't automatically played for people.
Let's take just one example: Carl Benjamin, aka "Sargon of Akkad", an anti-feminist youtuber and failed politician. Benjamin is one of the people who Tim has recently called for Twitter to reinstate.
Here's what happens when he asks Gadde about it:
Tim Pool says that he and his "crew" get mistaken for rockstars when they go out, because they "look the part", and "men are valued for their social status".
Some people are trying to give Tim Pool credit for "pushing back" on Kanye West's anti-semitism. Here's why that's wrong:
1) Tim knew exactly what Kayne's (and Fuentes') views were on Jewish people before he invited him on...
Tim Pool has never been "merely asking for facts" about these cases.
He has repeatedly stated that both killings were totally justified and the killers shouldn't have been convicted.
Cenk may be very loud and stupid, but he's completely correct here.
“FINALLY SOMEONE IS STICKING UP FOR WHITE PEOPLE KILLING BLACK PEOPLE”
Cenk Uygur completely misrepresents Tim Pool and his audience for merely asking for facts of the Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd cases.
As Gadde tried to tell Tim though, the policy isn't actually about gender. It's about stopping assholes from using it as a tactic to abuse people. Preventing harassment is a politically neutral action - unless Tim wants to argue that being an asshole is a conservative position.
A huge part of Tim's brand is being a critic of social media moderation - a reputation built on his appearance on Joe Rogan's show with Twitter's head lawyer Vijaya Gadde in 2019.
This show has attained a sort of mythical status in the Pooliverse, as shown by this stupid meme.
This happens over and over again. Tim assumes someone has been banned for wrongthink, and then is forced to backtrack once Gadde details the threats and abuse coming from that account.
It's honestly embarrassing.
Tim Pool has a counterargument for all those people who point out his predictions are always wrong:
When he says something will definitely happen, he just means it's 30% likely! Checkmate libs.
These are deeply unserious people. Imagine thinking that a boring centrist politician like Biden is suddenly going to start assassinating people who criticise him on social media.
Tim Pool is mad that the private jets he flies on, which used to be "only a little bit more than first class", are getting too expensive.
He blames "diversity" and "the great reset" for this.
Tim Pool says it's actually bad to provide food to people in need. Instead, society should "create some degree of hardship where they're forced to actually work for their food".
This is a person who describes himself as a "traditional liberal".
BTW, if you're wondering what these guys think is causing climate change, it's that the earth violently shifts on its orbital axis every 6500 years (because the Bible says so!). I cannot stress enough how deeply unserious Tim's "experts" are.
Tim Pool covers two obviously fake stories about people eating rats. He acknowledges they're probably fake, but it doesn't matter because they *could* be real, who knows!
Oh, and then he blames drag queens somehow.
Tim Pool says if he wanted to make lots of money, he'd do videos about "feminism backfiring" or "wokeness backfiring".
Uh, Tim... that is exactly what you do.
Tim Pool is currently losing his mind about Trump's businesses being found liable for fraud.
For whatever reason, his anger has been directed at
@KyleKulinski
(he made two full videos today calling Kyle a filthy communist). But Tim is wrong about both Kyle and the case itself.
Tim Pool and friends are, predictably, frothing over Matt Walsh's latest "investigation" into trans healthcare for consenting adults.
It was never about "protecting the kids", they just hate trans people.
Tim Pool, who has never talked to a Palestinian activist in his life, has a deranged meltdown over the completely made-up notion that activists don't also care about other examples of human rights violations.
My favourite part of Tim Pool's interview style is how he'll wait for his guest to say something, then interrupt and say the exact same thing back to them as if he's just come up with it himself.
Good news: Tim Pool's girlfriend thinks women should be allowed to vote.
Bad news: Tim Pool's girlfriend thinks women should have to own land before being allowed to vote.
Tim Pool is now fearmongering about "Hamas sleeper cells" in the US. Don't worry though, all you need to do is buy his sponsored emergency food buckets!
Tim Pool is trying to create panic about Biden proposing a tax on "unrealized gains". The government is going to take all your money if you buy $25 in stock, Tim says.
Meanwhile in reality, this tax would only apply to individuals who own assets worth over $100 million.
Taking action against calling a trans woman a man does not mean that Twitter is taking a position on her gender. It's just taking a position on abuse being unacceptable. Tim refuses to see this, because he is invested in creating a narrative of media kowtowing to the trans lobby.
Tim Pool is out here just trying to enjoy watching AI videos of Christmas scenes, like a totally normal human.
Unfortunately his enjoyment is ruined when he remembers that some people are named Mohammed.
Tim Pool says there isn't a "classical liberal solution" to the problem of trans people existing.
Trans people are creating a "crooked and corrupt society", and we need "some kind of system that says here are the lines, do not cross them".
This is straight-up fascist rhetoric.
Oh no Tim, looks like you've cultivated an audience of the worst people in the world and now they're mad at you for not having their weird leader on your show.
Note how unprepared he is to have this conversation.
For fun, here's a shot of Tim's face when hearing Gadde read out Benjamin's repeated use of racial slurs.
Well, that went as well as expected. Three idiots getting mad about people being mean to them on twitter, truly the dumbest political fight of all time.
Tim Pool's team searched far and wide for the best person to represent Trump in their big debate, and landed on... Laura Loomer - who is most famous for refusing to take cabs driven by Muslims and chaining herself to Twitter's office door.
Given Taylor Swift is currently selling out massive stadiums and setting box office records with her concert film, it might be worth revisiting when Tim Pool declared he is bigger than Swift:
Tim Pool thinks his band of cancelled dad rockers is bigger than Taylor Swift, says nobody would listen to Taylor Swift if her songs weren't automatically played for people.
