I can sense a lot growth this year for this kid. He’s got the right mindset and a nice package of tools. Could eventually be a surprise imo.

Veleno brings more to his game than points. Plus he’s a left handed Center . Don’t know the AAV yet, but we know it’s gonna dirt cheap. Love this move. Still young and need to prove himself. Perfectly fine for a bottom 6 role.

Exceptional offensive skills. Undeniable. He’s gonna be a top 5 offensive player . But… you better put him with the best 2 Way Center in the universe or you’ll get scored on every shift. 1 of defensive impact is absolutely fucking brutal. Holy defensive dust liability.
Sometimes I'm thinking about how Matvei Michkov was excellent offensively last year.

I’m seeing all these terrible moves , especially by teams like Philly and Boston. Meanwhile Kent Hughes acquired 2 promising players under 26 years old in exchange for assets that had no possible future in the Habs organization . A lot of money coming off the books eventually too.
