Today I planted 30 English bluebells, 60 crocuses, and 20 fritillaries. Hopefully I’ll have a nice carpet of colour in a few years in this small ‘woodland’ type area 🪴

Who loves Art Nouveau? 😍 This building in Bristol was built as a printing works between 1900 and 1901 for the printer Edward Everard. The main building was demolished around 1970, leaving only the facade. It's the largest decorative facade of its kind in England.

The Oak House in West Bromwich dates to the late 16th century. The Turton family, the owners most associated with the house, were yeoman farmers and nail makers who became moneylenders. They loaned to royalist gentry after King Charles I's defeat in the English Civil War.

The Dutch House was built around 1676 and was situated at the intersection of High Street, Wine Street, Corn Street, and Broad Street in Bristol. The building was destroyed by fire during a bombing raid in November 1940, which destroyed much of Bristol's pre-war shopping area.

Norwich's Grade I-listed Music House is being restored. 🥳 It's one of the oldest buildings in Norwich, dating back to the 12th century, and is the only secular building from that period to survive there.

‘None will grudge them their great treasures and authority, when they see it is all employed to make their people happy. None will envy their greatness, when they see it accompanied with a suitable greatness of soul; whereas a magnified and flattered pageant will soon fall under
