We've shut down Berks! This is a community victory, 8 years of nonstop organizing. Here are a few of the voices of those in the coalition. We thank all of the MANY people who took action with us, and to the incredible leadership of those who were detained who led the way!

Yesterday I was part of a group that peacefully protested the expansion of a coal mine in Germany. We were kettled by police and then detained but were let go later that evening. Climate protection is not a crime. #LuetziBleibt #LuetziLebt #KeepItInTheGround #ClimateJustice

In the research I reviewed, what was identified was a tendency in these trauma victims to try to normalize their abuse as a form of denial defense. By convincing themselves that this is the way the world is, they got to pretend they weren't victims. However, the dark (2/3)

Something occurred to me as I am watching people oppose #studentloanforgiveness on the grounds that it's unfair to people who paid off their loans already. 25 years ago, in undergrad, I wrote a paper looking into the question of why 1/3 of child abuse victims become abusers(1/3)

That's who geeks are. And if you see this as #Wokeness or some liberal agenda you oppose, its because you see people like you be portrayed as villains, but that is because, in many way, you are the villain and have been to the real geeks who built the media

People that were picked on and had no one stand up for them, so our media reflected the value of standing up for people who are different and opposing oppressive powers. Geek culture represents the disenfranchised and the rejected who want to make the world better because (tbc)

The right is regularly losing support. But the truth is is that geek culture has a long tradition of questioning the status quo because the status quo traditionally rejected geeks. It became mainstream because businesses discovered geeks had money, but geeks used to be the (tbc)
