A new smaller update is now live on Celaro where: ① You can add new tasks by hovering on a list and pressing [N]. If you hold [SHIFT] while doing this the task will be added to the top of the list. ② You can now also duplicate statuses/lists in a board. @celaroapp #uiux

@celaroapp Just realized I can also use this for writing first drafts of blog posts, based on the description I enter in the task 🤯 @celaroapp #software #reactjs #uiux

@celaroapp I also realized another thing that makes this awesome: You can provide this as context when starting a Cursor agent, giving it even more information to work with 🤯

The best way to research for a task is the method you don't even have to think about 😉 [This is still a work in progress, but it demonstrates our goal: to keep you in the flow so you can focus more on your work] @celaroapp #software #reactjs #uiux

I am currently working on a guide for first-time users in the app. This guide aims to help them quickly get the most value from the service, addressing an area where we have previously struggled... @celaroapp #software #reactjs #uiux

We’ve now migrated Celaro from Next.js to plain React. This unlocks work on the desktop app (which is on the way) and delivers some performance gains, making the app feel snappier overall. @celaroapp #software #reactjs #uiux

Would truly love if they opened up for developers to create integrations such as the Gmail and Google Calendar since these really feels so incredibly satisfying to use. I have tried using Comet for similar things but it just doesn't feel as fast and as satisfying to use.

Earlier this year, I transitioned Arc → Dia, but after about a month, I returned to Arc. Now, as I switch back to Dia again, I honestly feel like I will stick with it for good this time. It feels so refined and quick to use + the new Gmail/Gcal integration is incredibly

I have tried streaming the Next.js site into Electron, but the performance was absolutely terrible. Moving away from Next.js seems to be the key to getting this desktop app up and running, and I am fully committed to that!

Since we use Next.js, which is not very optimal for this scenario and doesn't work well with Electron, we are now considering converting the Next.js frontend. This will allow us to fully implement the desktop app.

I have spent some time today figuring out how we can start offering Celaro as a desktop app using Electron. Did manage to create a draft of it, and wow... seeing the app boot up with no title bar looks crazy good ✦ But... Read more in the thread below [↓] #software #reactjs

[Sticking To Our Philosophy] By keeping it light and simple we are keeping ourself to the philosophy that we had from the very beginning: — "A roadmap for your day that is light and simple, providing structure without distracting you from your work."

[Simple Checklists] Instead of making each task get a page you can open etc. we're going back to basic and just keeping them as checklists. At Celaro, we firmly believe that simplicity is the way forward. Making things too complex only exhausts users over time.

[Sticky Date Navigation] The date navigation now follows and sticks to the users viewport as you scroll, making it possible to see the navigation as you scroll.

[Simplified UI] I've worked on making the simplifying the UI to make it feel more minimalistic, yet more refined and polished. E.g smaller icons and more cautious use of colors.
