A librarian & internet consultant who no longer uses this platform due to the hatred & misinformation allowed on it. Ethically it’s against my principles.

Joined June 2007
I am no longer using Twitter/X due to the activities of its owner, and the amount of disinformation and hatred that is allowed here. I suggest all info professionals do the same.

#ukmedlibs AI will not steal yr job. The person using AI will steal yr job. Our role is the same as ever; to work with our client groups to produce excellent research & content etc AI will help tremendously in this. It’s a very positive future IF we embrace it!

#ukmedlibs it’s very easy to focus on what AI tools get wrong, but remember, this is as bad as they will ever get. We need to plan for a year or 2 down the road when they are far better. Look at the future rather than todays limitations

#ukmedlibs AI has tremendous potential. We need to become the experts and facilitate others using them. We can change the way we search, become more creative, save time, reduce wasted effort etc. but only by understanding & embracing the tools.
