Abolishing the electoral college - or at least making it proportional like Maine and Nebraska - is something I have always felt very strongly about. Radiolab does an excellent job explaining how it was created and how close we've come to getting rid of it.

The closest we ever came to abolishing the electoral college and why we probably never will.

HUGE shoutout to @HFandG Tree Corps for their help with re-mulching, staking & pruning of over two dozen young(ish) trees @CityofCleveland City Hall today. This included hauling hundreds of lbs of stone from tree pits for nearly 6 hours. These trees are looking so much better.

More tree wins: Over two dozen added to the newly revamped Lake Pool Park. Brought @NewsHour here a few yrs ago to highlight CLE’s low canopy. Also helped secure $75k (thanks @WRLConservancy) w/ @MetroWestCLE for 50 plantings on W. 65 between Clark and Storer Ave in Stockyards.

Was asked to speak to Lakewood City Council tonight about Cleveland’s Complete & Green Street program. Lakewood is looking to incorporate their own policy so @jacobvanbicycle and I shared some insight as to Cleveland’s evolution. Thanks to @KyleGBaker for the invite.
