An absolute shocker from @UnibetRacing who were the only firm that started taking bets on Sir Gino for the 2027 champion hurdle last week, and now a few days later he has died. Not a good look considering they're attached to the Henderson yard.

Next years race will be worse than this years. The New Lion will go up in trip or over fences. Brighterdaysahead will go chasing. All the first 3 in the Supreme are going chasing. Turners not a great race imo. There won't be much to beat.

William Munny at 50/1 champion hurdle is my first antepost bet for 2027. Was near enough single figures for this years before injury. Split Kopek and Romeo in Supreme, is lightly raced, is staying over hurdles, and will be back for Punchestown. 50/1 is a mental price.

Great day at Cheltenham. I've been saying for two years that Lossiemouth is a champion hurdler. She would have won the year State Man fell in against Irish Point and Luccia. She obviously would have won last year. And now she's demolished them today. An outstanding mare π©·π
