Um. trains already go from Euston to Manchester. so it's not HS2 is it?.
NEW: Sky news understands HS2 will go from Euston to Man, but at Birmingham will switch onto normal tracks. So the PM, despite telling me today he wasn’t going to be forced into making premature decisions’ about HS2, had made the decision (which I put directly to him in our i/v).
