Congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 Girls Football Team for their 5-3 win against Corpus Christi School this afternoon. At times the score was close but the girls battled hard to get a win. They now progress into the next round of the competition. @MrsSweetCBPSA @CBPSA_VP

We loved our visit from the RSPCA this morning. We learnt lots of new facts about hedgehogs and how to care for them. Then we made hedgehogs from clay. This inspired some excellent impromptu writing when we got back to our classroom. @MrsHarraway2 @CBPSA_VP

Year 1 have been busy learning about 3D shapes this week. We’ve been exploring which shapes roll and stack, making them out of our magnetic tiles and sorting them into different groups. @CastleBatch @MrsHarraway2 @mrchambersyr5

As we near the end of our enquiry, it was lovely to see this group of children creating a mind map of their learning. They talked confidently about what they had learnt, drew their ideas and worked brilliantly as a team to record their knowledge. @CBPSA_VP @MrsHarraway2

Today we’ve been learning about different types of trees. We’ve been identifying and sorting leaves from deciduous and evergreen trees. The windy weather today meant there were lots of leaves to collect! @MrsHarraway2 @DaweCaroline @CastleBatch
